Cystitis

Cystitis

This condition is normally self-limiting and usually needs no treatment and mainly affects women. It is an inflammation of the bladder.

The main symptoms are a constant urge to urinate, with little urine being passed, pain when passing urine and a strong smelling urine.

A simple treatment is to try to drink a solution that increases the Ph of the urine to stop bacterial growth.

Drinking plenty of fluids without caffeine is also useful at flushing out the system

When should I go to the doctors?

All children, pregnant ladies or men should see the GP if they have these symptoms.

If the person has blood in their urine, physically feels unwell or being sick.
