Who should have an NHS flu jab at one of our pharmacies?

If you’re 65 or over or you have a long-term health condition, flu can be serious. That’s why you’re eligible for a free flu jab.

The flu virus strikes in winter and it can be far more serious than you think. Flu can lead to serious complications such as bronchitis and pneumonia, and it can be deadly. That’s why the flu jab is free if you’re aged 65 or over.

If you are the main carer of an older or disabled person you may also be eligible for the free flu jab. Just speak to one of our pharmacists for advice.

If you have one of the following long term conditions you may also be eligible for an NHS flu jab:

You are also entitled to an NHS flu jab in one of our pharmacies if you are pregnant.

There is still time to get a free of charge NHS flu vaccine in one of our pharmacies

There is no charge and appointments are not usually necessary. We can treat you even if you do not regularly use our pharmacies. Call into one of our pharmacies to find out more.

 

Private flu vaccination

If you do not qualify for an NHS flu vaccine we can offer you a private flu vaccine. As well as protecting you, this may also protect vulnerable family members.  Call into one of our pharmacies to find out more.
