Protect your family with Drontal Dog Tasty Bone and Drontal Cat worming tablets

We provide medicines for all of your family and that includes your pets. We often get asked for advice about worming tablets for dogs and cats. This is important because some infestations in pets can be passed onto the people in your family. This post tell you more about how to prevent worms in cats and dogs using Drontal products, which we stock in all of our pharmacies.

Why protect your dogs and cats?

Worms can be a big problem, but they don’t need to be. Our dogs and cats pick up worms in all kinds of places, and you might not even know they’ve got intestinal worms. This poses a health risk to your pet and even potentially to people who come in contact with your pet.

How do dogs and cats get worms?

Dogs and cats can pick up intestinal worms by ingesting worm eggs or larvae from their environment, from hunting, or even from swallowing fleas. Puppies and kittens can also contract worms from their mother.
