Plans approved for extension to Castle Donington Surgery in conjunction with Evans Pharmacy

Castle Donington Surgery—Expansion Proposals Approved

After a lengthy process involving West Leicestershire CCG, NHS England and North West Leicestershire District Council, the ap-proval has finally been granted for the provision of two extra consultation rooms, alterations to the waiting room area, and
extra ground floor administration space.
Preparatory work will start in the next few weeks, with total project time being six months and a expected completion date of September 2018.
Funding has come from the section 106 monies set aside specifically for the provision of health service infrastructure from the recent housing developments in the village.
Extra funding will be available ongoing for the provision of staff and services as the larger housing developments due to be started are completed
Following the build period the car park to the rear will be resurfaced and be brought back into use for patients and users of the facilities around Borough St to provide much needed extra parking for the village.
