Protect your family with Frontline Plus flea and tick treatment for dogs and cats

We provide medicines for all of the family and that includes your pets. At this time of year we often get asked for advice about treating fleas and ticks. This post tell you more about how to treat fleas and ticks in cats and dogs using Frontline Plus spot on.

Why protect your cats and dogs?

Flea infestations can transmit tapeworms  causing distress to your pet. This is because part of the tapeworm lifecycle is spent inside fleas. In addition fleas can cause secondary bacterial infections in pets due to scratching. Furthermore, severe flea infestations can lead to anaemia in puppies and kittens, while animals with flea allergy dermatitis can develop severe irritation and inflammation following exposure to even a small number of fleas.

What can you do to protect your pets?

Rob McDonald our lead veterinary pharmacist recommends Frontline Plus spot on as the treatment of choice for cats and dogs. We stock this product in all of our pharmacies.
