Flu Vaccinations

Flu vaccines are available every year on the NHS in order to help protect adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.
Influenza can be unpleasant, but if you are otherwise healthy it will usually clear up on its own within a week.  However, it can be more severe in certain people, such as:

  • anyone aged 65 and over
  • pregnant women
  • children and adults with an underlying health condition (particularly long-term heart or respiratory disease)
  • children and adults with a weakened immune system

People in these risk groups are more likely to develop potentially serious complications of flu, such as pneumonia (a lung infection), therefore it is recommended that they have a flu vaccine every year to protect them.

We offer the injected flu vaccine free on the NHS annually to:

  • adults over the age of 18 at risk of flu (including everyone aged 65 and over)
  • pregnant women

All of our branches offer a flu vaccination service, no appointment is needed and it can usually be done immediately by our fully trained staff members.

No queuing, and no need to make an appointment. This service is free of charge to anyone in the groups mentioned above.

If you do not qualify for free prescriptions then our prices are very reasonable, and will give you peace of mind over the winter months.

You can book a flu vaccine online at any of our branches from September 1st onwards. Please use the link below to Book your vaccination
